About Me

I have been a mineral and crystal dealer for many years and in that time I have created a lot of websites for my self as well as other people. Most of the other mineral and crystal dealers I know are pretty clueless about the internet and how use it to generate business, and while this is true of most mineral and crystal dealers - it is especially true of those in Africa.

I started this website about 4 or 5 years ago, as a way of helping dealers and suppliers to make contact with international buyers, but got very frustrated by the lack of interest from the very people I was trying to help, and eventually just shelved the project.

On of the main problems I ran into was simply the matter of trust. Very few people could understand why a mineral dealer would be willing to help other mineral dealers to generate sales.

Well, the answer to that is very simple... There is no way that any 1 person can supply everybody in the world with all the minerals and crystals that they want, and so there is more than enough business for all of us! I don't see any of the other dealers as competition - I see them as friends and allies. I would much rather pass on a customer to a dealer who can supply him properly, rather than offer bad service in trying to squeeze a few extra bucks by tying to source something myself at the last minute

Anyway... in early May 2008 I finally decided to complete this website. Sure, I'll be promoting my own businesses but I'll also be advertising everybody else for free and give special placements to my friends. I may start charging for premium spots sometime in the future depending on how much traffic the site generates, but for now I just want to get the site up and complete a project that has been lying dormant for so long!
